Where do you get your protein?

As vegans, we are all too familiar with the question, “Where do you get your protein?” 

Beans, legumes, quinoa, nuts and seeds are just some of the many plant-based proteins that are entirely adept at meeting all our protein requirements.  Active individuals on a plant-based diet seeking to add lean mass may opt to include a protein supplement, in much the same way a meat eater may include a whey shake to theirs.
