I needed to lose weight as my blood pressure was high. The doctor threatened to put me on meds. I was worried about developing diabetes, as it runs in my family. I discovered Dr. Fuhrman’s books and began following his plan. I was about 80% plant based for about four years. I became 100% plant based in September of 2016.

I am med free. I successfully lowered my blood pressure, avoided diabetes and lost over 150 pounds!
I stick with whole foods primarily. I eat a wide variety of fruits and veggies and generally avoid the vegan junk foods.
I find that I don’t need to count calories.

Chest and arms along with 30 minutes cardio, back strength training with 30 minutes cardio, or leg and shoulders with 30 minutes cardio.
A smoothie consisting of kale, pine nuts, bananas and almond milk.
You need to just get started. Walk a little more each day and cut out the processed foods!
Yes but I found that I learned more on my own.
A few co-workers expressed interest in my diet.
