Lost 155 pounds. Reversed Type 2. Reversed sleep apnea. Cardiologist says I’m in the minority now for heart disease.
I eat whole foods and very little processed foods. I simply eat and do not track macronutrients.
No inflammation and amazing recovery from workouts.
Water, coconut water, coffee, tea, kombucha, and oatmilk.
One meal at a time. You don’t have to be extreme, just consistent.
Currently, I train with an ex CrossFit games competitor in her gym local to me. It’s HIIT based and we row a lot.
No. Focus on whole body HIIT.
Various Olympic weightlifting gym movements and rowing a lot on the concept2 rowing machines.
I only workout completely fasted, so my oatmeal bowl is typically my favorite since I eat it afterwards.
For me, a class setting really was the catalyst in my regime. Show up. Workout hard. Rinse. Repeat. I like not being able to think about the workouts right now. It used to be the reason why I never went to the gym. I didn’t know what to really do! Now I just listen. Eventually I will branch out on my own.
Orangetheory Fitness is where I started. It saved my life and made me a fitness person. My personal goals changed so I left, but I highly recommend it to anyone not sure where to start.
I have definitely influenced others to adopt this lifestyle and begin their journey. It is very encouraging and I love to motivate people.
